Posts & feed

Share a post

Applies to: everyone — the number of photos per post varies by plan. Compare plans
  1. On the Feed, tap Add Post.
  2. Write your post — rich text works, and you can @mention people and vehicles as you type.
  3. Tap the photo button to add pictures. Drag the thumbnails to reorder them, use the pencil on any thumbnail to adjust it, or the × to remove it.
  4. Tap Post — it appears at the top of the feed instantly.
  5. Change your mind later? Open your post's menu to Edit (text and photos, including reordering) or Delete. Your post stays visible while you edit, so you can see what you're changing.

If a post or reply fails to send (bad connection, for example), your text isn't lost — it's put right back in the editor so you can try again.

Mention people and vehicles

Applies to: everyone.
  1. Type @ while writing a post or reply and pick a person or a vehicle from the list.
  2. Mentions become live links — tap one to jump to that profile or vehicle page. The person you mentioned (or the vehicle's owner) gets a notification.
  3. Mention links keep themselves up to date: if a vehicle is renamed, old posts show the new name automatically. If an account or vehicle is later deleted, the mention simply stops being a link — your post isn't broken.

Vehicles that went read-only after a plan change don't appear in the mention list until they're active again — existing mentions of them keep working. See what "read-only" means.

Reply and follow conversations

Applies to: everyone with an account (anyone can read; liking and replying need a login).
  1. Tap a post (or its comment count) to open the conversation. It opens right over the page you're on — closing it puts you back exactly where you were, scroll position and all.
  2. The reply box is ready at the bottom. To answer a specific comment instead, tap Reply on that comment — the box retargets and shows who you're replying to.
  3. Replies can include photos too, and you can edit or delete your own from each one's buttons.
  4. Long thread? Tap View more replies under any branch to load more. Newest replies show first.
  5. Tap the like count on a post or reply to see who liked it. Tap any photo to view it full screen.
  6. When someone replies to you or mentions you, the notification takes you straight to that exact reply in the conversation.

Post in a club or event

Applies to: club members and event attendees; posting as the club or event needs permission from its founders/organizers.
  1. Open the club or event and go to its Feed tab, then tap the add button. Your post lands in that feed.
  2. By default a club/event post is visible to its members only. If you have the right permission, you'll also see Also show on the global feed — tick it to share the post with everyone.
  3. Founders, organizers, and admins with announcement permission can tick Post as Announcement — the post then speaks as the club or event itself (with a small "posted by you" credit) and members are notified. Event announcements can also notify the feeds of affiliated clubs.
  4. Posts made in a club or event show a small "in {name}" tag on the main feed and your profile, so readers know where the conversation lives.
  5. Some clubs and events open their feed for anyone to read — replying is still members-only.

Club and event moderators can mute a member from posting in that feed (reading and liking still work) — if you can read a feed but can't post, check with its admins.

Share a post outside YOHB

Applies to: everyone.
  1. Tap Share on any post and send the link anywhere — text, social, email.
  2. Whoever opens it lands directly on that post's conversation, ready to read.
  3. Share links are smart links — they're the only public address a post has. Visits are counted quietly; nobody gets notified. See what we track when someone scans.
  4. Sharing never bypasses privacy — a members-only club post still requires the reader to be a member (or the club's feed to be public).
