Activate a YOHB QR code
Applies to: everyone — activation works on every plan. Compare plans
- When you get a YOHB code (sticker, plate tag, merch), we email you a claim code.
- Open the activation page from the link in that email — or scan the printed QR with the in-app scanner.
- Enter the 12-character claim code (it formats itself as
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and tap Activate. - Pick what the code should open — your profile, a vehicle, a club, an event, or a post — and you're live.
You can see your sticker orders any time under Account → My Orders — each order shows the items, a preview of every sticker with its code and colors, your order total, and a link to view the order in the shop. Codes you haven't activated yet are labelled Ready to activate.
Point your QR code at any of your pages
Applies to: all plans; where a code can point varies by plan. Compare plans
- Go to Account › My QR Codes.
- On the code's row, tap Reassign.
- Pick the type (profile, vehicle, club, event, post), then the specific item, and save.
The printed code never changes — reassign as often as you like and every past sticker keeps working. You can also rename a code and download its QR as a PNG from the same row.
See your scan stats
Applies to: Premium and higher — scans keep counting on every plan. Compare plans
- Go to Account › My QR Codes.
- Tap View stats on any code: total scans, unique scanners, and a breakdown by what the code pointed at.
- Tap any target to expand its scan history — every scan, newest first, with who scanned it (when they were signed in), the date and time, and an approximate city when available.
On the Free plan the stats view is locked, but nothing is lost — every scan is still recorded (and still notifies you), so your full history is waiting when you upgrade.
What we track when someone scans — and what we never store
Applies to: everyone.
- Location is optional and approximate. Scanners are asked for permission; if they allow it, we store a point rounded to roughly a kilometer — precise coordinates are never saved. Deny the prompt and the scan simply has no location.
- City and state come only from that approximate point — never from IP addresses.
- Minors are protected. A signed-in user under 18 is never linked to a scan and never located — the scan counts, anonymously.
- Share links are quiet. Opening a link someone shared is counted for stats but never triggers a notification.
- Your URLs are private by design. Public links use random codes, not account numbers, and your VIN or plate never appears in any link.
Get notified when your stuff is scanned
Applies to: everyone.
- Nothing to set up — when someone physically scans your profile, vehicle, club, or event, you get a notification.
- You're notified on the first scan of each item per person per day, so a repeat scan minutes later won't ping you again.
- Signed-in scanners show their name; others appear as "Anonymous user".
