Add a vehicle
Applies to: everyone — how many vehicles and photos you can add varies by plan. Compare plans
- From your garage, start a new vehicle.
- Fastest way: enter the VIN — or photograph the VIN plate and we'll read it for you. Year, make, model, and more pre-fill automatically, and the filled-in fields lock so they stay accurate. (Want to change them? Clear the VIN — that starts the details over.)
- No VIN handy? Skip it and pick the year, make, and model yourself — every field also accepts free typing, so an unusual trim or color is never a problem. Drivetrain even detects itself from the trim when it can.
- Add photos, a name, your story, and modifications, then save. If a photo upload hiccups, your vehicle still saves — just add the photos again from its Edit page.
Keep your VIN and license plate private
Applies to: everyone.
- Your VIN and license plate are private by default — only you can see them, and they never appear in search or links.
- Want one shown on your public vehicle page? Turn on its "Show my…" toggle on the vehicle's Edit page. A "Private" badge on the field means the toggle is off.
- Heads-up: some clubs and events require a VIN or plate to participate. If you remove one they need, we show you exactly which memberships are affected before you save.
Edit or delete a vehicle
Applies to: everyone.
- Open your vehicle's page and choose Edit from its menu.
- Everything is editable here — including fields the VIN filled in when you created it.
- To delete, use the Delete vehicle button on the Edit page. If a club or event membership depends on this vehicle, the confirmation tells you before anything happens.
Find vehicles and garages
Applies to: everyone.
- Open Vehicles — browse the Vehicles tab, or switch to Profiles to explore whole garages.
- Tap the filter button to narrow by make and model; your filters stick around until you clear them.
