Create an event
Applies to: everyone — how many active events you can run, and extras like AI import and restricted registration, vary by plan. Compare plans
- From Events, start a new event. Got a flyer or an announcement text? Paste or upload it and AI pre-fills the form as a draft you review — nothing publishes without you. (Available on paid plans.)
- Set the schedule (multi-day works), drop the venue pin — that also sets the event's time zone and address — and pick how people register: Open, Registration required, Approval required, or Invite only.
- Optionally add per-type spots and fees for exhibitors, staff, and vendors, link your club (the club consents), choose what registrants share, and set the registration window.
- Add photos and publish. You're automatically registered as attending your own event.
Register for an event and get your ticket
Applies to: everyone.
- Open the event — the button tells you the path: Register, Apply, or Accept for invitations. The page shows when registration opens and closes.
- Bringing a car, or working the event? Pick your slot — exhibitor, staff, or vendor — during registration (you can add one later too).
- Once you're in, your QR ticket lives in My Tickets and on the event page. Some casual events skip tickets entirely — just show up, or tap Follow to keep updated.
- Full? You're waitlisted automatically and notified if a spot opens.
Share, reclaim, or return a spare ticket
Applies to: everyone 18+ for acquiring spares.
- On the event page you can pick up spare tickets (up to 10) to hand out — great for bringing the family.
- In My Tickets, use a ticket's menu to Rename it ("Dad's ticket") or Share it to another user by name.
- Shared someone a ticket who can't make it? Reclaim it any time. Received one you can't use? Return it — the owner gets it back, and everyone's notified.
- Sharing and acquiring close when registration closes or the event ends. Tickets for past or cancelled events move to your History tab automatically.
Check in at an event
Applies to: everyone.
- As a guest: show your QR ticket at the gate — organizers scan it. If the event allows self check-in, a Check in now button appears on your ticket from 2 hours before start; it may ask for your location once to confirm you're on site (your coordinates are never stored).
- Brought a car? Check-in confirms which vehicle you brought — even swapping to a different one on the spot.
- As an organizer: the event's Manage page has the check-in scanner (scan or type a code); walk-ups with a vehicle can be registered right at the gate, and check-in stays open until 24 hours after the event ends. On the mobile app, scanning even works with no signal — it syncs when you're back online.
Set up a recurring event series
Applies to: Premium and higher. Compare plans
- When creating your event, set Repeats — weekly, every other week, or monthly (same date or "third Saturday" style).
- Upcoming dates are created about 12 weeks ahead, each with its own registration — regulars can also just Follow the series on casual events.
- Editing asks whether the change applies to this event or the entire series; a date you customized keeps its changes.
- Cancelling or deleting the series never touches past dates or dates you customized; affected registrants are notified.
Add an event to your calendar
Applies to: everyone.
- Tap Add to Calendar on the event — your device gets the right form automatically (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or a downloadable file for anything else, including Outlook).
- If the schedule later changes, re-adding updates your existing calendar entry instead of duplicating it — and registrants are notified of the change anyway.
- The event page also shows the day's weather as it approaches (and typical conditions for far-out dates).
Find events near you
Applies to: everyone.
- Open Events › Discover — with a profile city set, we show your region automatically.
- Tap the filter to switch between My region, Near me (uses your location once, only when you apply — never stored), or a typed City, ST, and pick a radius.
- Sort by soonest, latest, or recently added — or flip to past events.
